EVF’s cornerstone program provides vision services to low-income children at no cost to the family through mobile clinics at schools, school vision days, community vision fests, and other special events.
Our mission is to provide good vision, while being dedicated to eliminating the barriers of awareness, access, and affordability. Due to our strong partnerships and vision advocates, Essilor Vision Foundation has helped distribute more than 500,000 pairs of glasses to people in need since 2007. Learn more about what we do below.
We work with schools to bring awareness to the importance of good vision through educational programs for student, parents, and teachers. We also partner with school districts and nonprofits to provide lens and lab processing for school-based health clinics.
We support eyecare professionals who are advocates for vision in their communities by providing them with low-cost resources.
We build relationships and offer resources to charities who understand that the ability to see impacts a child’s ability to succeed.
Soar with us!
To us, a paper airplane is more than just a piece of paper. It symbolizes a child’s ability to soar in life once they receive a new pair of glasses.
Join us and we’ll send you a “How to Fold a Paper Airplane” PDF.
