About See Kids Soar®

1. What is See Kids Soar (SKS)?

See Kids Soar is a turnkey program that inspires your patients and staff to adopt the cause of vision. The campaign ask doctors and staff to help raise donations which go towards providing vision services for underserved children in the United States. Participants can receive free marketing materials to promote the cause and can even receive a free credit card processor to facilitate donations at checkout.

2. Where does the money go?

The funds raised help provide lenses, lab services and glasses to children across the United States who need critical vision care. Essilor Vision Foundation works with eye doctors, vision nonprofits and schools to provide vision service across the country. Just $50 provides an eye exam and glasses for a child in need. No child or their family ever receives a bill from the Essilor Vision Foundation.

3. How do I register for the program?

Please visit evfusa.org/sks-info and complete the enrollment form. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email of your participation. If you have any questions about the program please email SeeKidsSoar@evfusa.org.

4. How long will it take for me to receive the marketing kit?

You can expect to receive your marketing kit in as little as 3-4 weeks. If you have any questions about the status of your marketing kit, please reach out to us at SeeKidsSoar@evfusa.org.

5. How long do I have to commit to SKS donations?

Your support of the See Kids Soar program is crucial to eradicating poor vision. Without charitable doctors, millions of children across the United States would be unable to obtain vision services. Therefore, we suggest that all participants in the SKS program commit to at least 1 year.

6. How does EVF receive the donations?

The SKS program with Foxfire/OpenEdge is a no-hassle, turnkey solution that allows for customer donations to be automatically deposited to Essilor Vision Foundation. No cash counting or time-consuming reports are required of the participant. A detailed report of the total donations received for the See Kids Soar program by your office can be made available by OpenEdge. For information on accessing your reports, please contact OpenEdge at 1-800-367-2638.

If your office has a credit card service provider other than OpenEdge, your practice can submit donations directly. A unique URL payment link can be sent to your account to make a donation to EVF online. You can also mail a check directly to Essilor Vision Foundation at 13515 N. Stemmons Fwy Dallas, TX 75234 Attn: See Kids Soar.

7. How do I sign up to receive the pin pad?

1. What are the benefits of signing up with Foxfire for the pinpad?

Studies show that promoting a cause is good for your business and Essilor Vision Foundation, in partnership with Foxfire Systems Group, make doing good as simple as possible through enabling donations at register! By signing up for See Kids Soar and receiving a free credit card processor through Foxfire, your office can easily accept donations at checkout and have free reporting and remittance to Essilor Vision Foundation. The customer makes the donation and all charitable giving is seamlessly separated from other transactions and sent directly to Essilor Vision Foundation. A detailed report of all transactions (both business and charitable) can be made available per request.

If you have another credit card service provider, you can upload your own SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) in the system to enable donations. Please contact your respective provider for further instructions on creating a charitable SKU.

5. What if I have a different Credit Card processor other than OpenEdge? Can I still get the SKS donation added?

When a customer makes a donation, please include the donation SKU number, the fact the SKU represents a donation to Essilor Vision Foundation, the amount of the donation and date of donation on the receipt. Essilor Vision Foundation must receive reporting and 100% of all charitable funds no later than 30 days after the end of each month.
